mail resolution

Mail resolution?

Using 1600x1200 native resolution on an Dell 2001FP LCD, all is good in Windows and IE, etc. In Mail, it looks like it is running in 1280x1024 or something. Text is soft and appears scaled down. Is there a setting for this? Thanks...

It's more likely related to your video card that Dell provided. Might check with Dell to see if they offer an updated driver. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile=F9F51EF1-4AE3-4D23-B2D8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.

Might be your video card - you could try turning off ClearType?

Thanks...
What's odd is that the title bar is crisp and clean, while all the rest is soft.
The only drivers that I could find are for XP and they give an install error.
Guess it'll remain a generic PNP monitor for now.
BTW, IE has everything fine and crisp.
Thanks again.
